Privacy policy
treehouse, a Mac app, and treehouse.calmapps.com.
What treehouse does with your Google data
When you sign in, you give the treehouse app on your Mac permission to read your Gmail messages and labels, your Google contacts, and the "other contacts" Gmail keeps. The app uses that permission for one thing: to keep a copy of your mail and contacts on your Mac, in a folder you choose, and to show you how that copy stands.
The app downloads your mail and contacts directly from Google to your Mac. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. The permission itself (Google's sign-in token) is kept in your Mac's keychain and never leaves it.
What our server sees
Nothing of yours. treehouse.calmapps.com serves this site and the app's installers and updates, and there is no sign-in to it. When the app checks for an update it fetches a list of releases, like any web page, and sends nothing about you or your accounts. Like any web server it keeps short-lived logs of requests (network address, time and page) to keep it running.
Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transfer your Google data to anyone, use it for advertising, or use it to train any model. People do not read it. treehouse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing your data
Remove an account in the app to stop syncing it and give its sign-in back to Google; you can also revoke treehouse's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The copy of your mail on your Mac is yours: delete its folder to remove it. We hold nothing of yours to delete.
